here's a list of things you should never take for granted
1. being able to sleep on your side, or even just with your face on the side
2. being able to eat remotely hard food (think about all of it! chicken, strawberries, pizza, cookies, green beans, candy, starbursts, cake, cheetos, bacon, pancakes, sandwiches, hamburgers, casserole, lasagna, popcorn, etc!)
3. being able to smooch on your signif. other any damn time you feel like it
4. being able to laugh or cry without being in physical pain
5. being able to lick your lips. sometimes, you just need to.
6. being able to communicate verbally in something other than vague clucking noises
7. being able to know what your face is going to look like the next day. think about that, dudes. think about how old you are. i'm only 17. it took me at least a good 15 years to get good and comfortable with my face and what it does and how it looks, what with going through puberty and peer pressure and all. and i'm pretty laid back about that shit. now i got to start all over :\

but anyway. i can't do any of those things right now, go me! i'm not entirely helpless. i'm not in much pain as long as i'm on my meds. i can get up and move around. i can actually theoretically eat anything i want as long as i can get it in liquid form, stick it in a syringe and shoot it into my mouth. i'm like a pro now. liz is gonna bring me some jones soda today, i'm pretty excited. i keep sitting down in my bed to draw something but i just end up falling asleep. i'm terrible.
